MOME Anim success at KAFF Kecskemét Animation Film Festival

Kötelék/Bond, the MOME Anim MA diploma film of Judit Wunder won the Grand Prize at KAFF Kecskemét Animation Film Festival, the leading Hungarian animation film festival. Several other MOME Anim works and films made by graduates of the department have also been awarded in Kecskemét last weekend.

The Best Short Prize and the Prize of the Student Jury were given to Love, directed by Réka Bucsi, who earlier gained fame with her MOME Anim MA diploma film, Symphony no. 42.

The Prize of the Children's Jury was awarded to Király Krisztián for his MOME Anim diploma film, The Handnail Picker.

The Special Prize (Best Animation) of the Hungarian Academy of Arts was given to Petra Varga, for her MOME Anim MA diploma film, Mimic, a 3D animated short about two pantomime artists.

The Special Prize of the Jury went to Attila Bertóti for 'Somhalom', which was created as part of the Children's Song and Poetry Series produced by MOME Anim with graduates of the department directing the different parts.

Another Special Prize was given to Zénó Mira for his short All My Days created at the animation department of MOME - Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetem.

A Special Prize (for visual presentation) was given to Ervin B. Nagy for his short titled Little Mouse about Krisztina Egerszegi, legendary Hungarian swimmer.
