Invited by Hello Wood, Benedetta Tagliabue, Barcelona based internationally recognised architect gives a presentation during the Budapest Design Week at MOME.

Benedetta manages the international architecture firm Miralles Tagliabue EMBT, founded in 1994 in collaboration with Enric Miralles. Having been awarded several times, she was elected Woman Architect of the Year in 2011 by RIBA. The assignments of EMBT office include the New Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh, the Diagonal Mar Park, the Santa Caterina market in Barcelona, and the Spanish Pavilion at the 2010.

Tagliabue’s office was present at this year’s Hello Wood architecture camp: Salvador Gilabert Sanz, one of the leading architects of EMBT mentored a group of Hungarian and international students for a week.

In her lecture Benedetta talks about the relationship between theory and practice, the activities of the office and the closely related Miralles Foundation, the achievements and the challenges held by future, and about how a woman can succeed in the world of architecture.
