Diploma (Fashion Design BA)

During the sixth semester, in both specialisations, students structure their design assignments around pre-determined themes. Students have the option to link the two specialisations, for example, by using the textiles they designed and produced for their clothing collection. The shared themes also enable them to engage in in-depth work. This process is supported by the thesis, which combines the theoretical background of the design assignments completed and the documentation of their research. For their portfolio defence, students present the results of the six semesters in the programme, and proceed to defend their thesis. The marks received for their portfolio and thesis at the viva voce examination are entered into their BA diploma.
