Strategic Design
The module includes the design projects of the Strategic Product Innovation specialisation, which focus on human-scale products and related services reflecting cultural and societal needs in a complex way. Small, diverse groups of students work on future challenges in a variety of design assignments with market partners, developing a real expertise-based, experimental, critical and creative attitude. The first semester will focus on the social aspects of sustainability, the second on strategic thinking and business planning methods, and the third on environmental issues. Along these concepts, students can master a variety of research methodologies, learn about strategic and business thinking models, and expand their design toolbox in support of environmental sustainability.
