Head and teacher of the Art and Design Management Kinga German organises regular field trips for students of the Institute for Theoretical Studies to Vienna. This time it was the turn of Art and Design Management MA students, along with Architecture, Product Design, Media Design and Fashion and Textile Design MA students to explore currently running exhibitions of Vienna.
The first stop of the field trip was the Architekturzentrum where an exhibition by Yasmeen Lari, Pakistan’s first female architect was on display, who went from Brutalist architecture to the architecture influencing the future and founded a zero-carbon self-build movement.
The second stop was MUMOK, where they saw the solo exhibitions of Adam Pendleton and Emília Rigová and group exhibition On Stage/All The Art World's a Stage led by director Karola Kraus.
