The research fellowship is planned to last between 12-24 months and should be interdisciplinary in its nature, capitalizing on the design expertise and practical knowledge available at MOME. Additionally, fellows will be expected to reside in Budapest.

Within this open call, we invite applications from researchers working in areas related to Immersive Technologies, and are primarily looking for project proposals in one of these fields: Health & Well-being or Digital Habitat.

Among others, the fellow will be expected to complete at least two research papers for presentation at (international) conferences and/or for publication in a peer-reviewed journal. The project is also expected to contribute towards HCI practices and the researcher should seek practical solutions to the identified problems.

Fellows will receive: a one-way airfare to Budapest and relocation assistance; access to campus office spaces, workshops, and tech equipment; possibility to qualify for equipment and material costs; and a monthly allowance based on prior qualifications.

Applicants must: hold an MA/MSc degree in related fields; demonstrate a successful academic publication record; have previous experience in programming and/or immersive technologies; be interested to work closely with researchers and designers in interdisciplinary teams relocate to and be primarily based in Budapest for the duration of the program.
