Information for international students
Erasmus+ and other student mobility affairs are handled by the Registrar's Office (TIK) of MOME.

As an Erasmus+ student you can study at MOME for one or two semesters maximum, at both BA and MA levels in all study areas.

As the majority of our BA and MA programmes are taught in Hungarian, guest students have the possibility to attend courses fully in English, and/or have personal consultations with their teachers in English.

Grading System

MOME uses a five-scale evaluation system:

5 = A = EXCELLENT – outstanding performance with only minor errors
4 = B = VERY GOOD – above the average standard but with some errors
3 = C = GOOD – generally sound work with a number of notable errors
2 = D = SUFFICIENT – performance meets the minimum criteria but it is 50% of ECTS A
1 = F= F FAIL – work required before the credit can be awarded

Credit System

The credit system used at MOME has the same structure as the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). One credit corresponds to 30 hours of learning workload. Recognition of ECTS at the home university:

Students completing the course equivalent to the course of the home institute receive the same number of credits which they would have received when completing the course at the home university. At MOME Erasmus students can complete a maximum of 30 ECTS per semester.
