A Budapesti Műszaki Egyetem Építőmérnöki Karának elvégzése után pár év algériai tartózkodás után az Ybl Miklós Főiskolán kezdett tanítani tanársegédként, majd docensként. Eközben kapott felkérést az akkori Iparművészeti Főiskolától. Először óraadóként, majd tanársegédként, jelenleg adjunktusként oktatja a statika tárgyat építész hallgatóknak. Mindvégig félállásban, a másik fele továbbra is az Ybl-é.
Biography
Dr Ágnes Marianna Farkasné Ligeti started teaching statics to architecture students at the Environmental Design (interior architecture) Department of the Hungarian College of Arts and Design, which later became the Hungarian University of Arts and Design, and then Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Institute of Architecture. Her goal is to apply basic mathematical knowledge, to introduce students to the structural forces at play in buildings, and to promote logical thinking.
