In my final project I deal with the concept of the white shadow in the Jungian model of personality.
The white shadow is a part of our unconscious that contains our unacknowledged positive qualities. I chose the technique of knitting to create the objects, because of the therapeutic nature of the work process. The formal inspiration came from the archetypes that appear in the unconscious and are also present in fairy tales.
I collected motifs that help the hero to achieve his goals, thereby symbolically expressing that the embodiment of my objects, the acceptance of our good qualities, and the embracing of ourselves, all help us to achieve our goals.
