The base of my graduation project is the vision of a manufacturing ecosystem which use the 3D printing technology in mass producton. More localised production units with large scale printers could cause flexible supply chain management and less need of logistics.
I will show the opportunities of this vision through the design process of a furniture collection optimized to a high volume industrial 3D printer. The design process is all parametric. The final product is developed in collaboration with 3D Makers Zone innovation hub.
