Aurum Futuri research excellence award
MOME citizens with at least two years of employment (whether full or part time) or doctoral student status are eligible to apply, with individual or group basic or applied research in humanities, design, art or science, not older than 3 years.
Entries need to be submitted individually. If the entry submissions include research conducted by the applicant together with others in a team, the applicant also needs to attach a statement of endorsement from each member of the team.

Deadline for entry submission: 30 June
In the entry submission period until 31 May each year, professional consultation sessions are provided by the university, including information and guidance, to encourage the submission of entries.

The committee reviews the entries and selects a minimum of three and up to seven entries for the shortlist.

In the second round, researchers present their entries to the committee, followed by a discussion by the committee

Applicants are notified of the committee’s decision by the last work day of July of the given year. Next, coordination with the winning applicant about the award ceremony in September and the related communication begins.
5.step
Each year, one award is presented. The award ceremony takes place at the opening of the academic year ceremony. The award recipient will present their award-winning activity to the university community in the academic year following the issue of the call.
