Information on our website regarding the general central admission procedure for 2023 is provided for information only. Costs
An additional special procedural fee will be charged to cover the costs of organising and conducting the aptitude test for the BA programmes and the practical exam for the Art and Design Theory BA and all MAs. The special procedure fee (HUF 4,000) can be settled via a bank card transaction via https://portfolio.mome.hu.
The basic condition for validating the portfolio upload is the payment of the special admission procedure fee, the deadline for payment is June 4, 2023. In the event of failure to make payment or provide proof of payment, the applicant may not take the entrance examination for the relevant programme.
Our BA and MA programmes are available both in a self-funded and state-funded form. The cost of the self-funded programmes launched for the 2023/2024 academic year will also be published in the publication “Higher Education Admission Information – Programmes starting in September 2023” on the official website of the higher education admission procedure.
Our English-language MA programs are also available both in a self-funded and state-funded form. For EEA citizens, state-funded programme is subject to special conditions. The self-funded programme is EUR 5,000/semester. For non-EEA citizens, self-funded programme is available for EUR 12,000/semester. They may apply to Regional Social Mobility Scholarship.
FAQ
The first round of the institutional entrance examinations for the BA programmes will take place between 20 February and 8 March 2023. The required application materials must be submitted electronically during this period. Only applicants who have successfully passed the first round may continue to the next procedure.
The general application requirements of each programme will be published by early November, while the assignments to be completed in advance for the entrance examination of the 2023 academic year and the format and content requirements will be published by 1 February 2023 on our website.
Some of our MAs are only be available in English, so in addition to an academic degree, at least B2 level English language proficiency is required to apply to them. They are available to Hungarian and foreign citizens alike both in a self-funded and state-funded form.
