Aurum Futuri educational excellence award
MOME teachers with an employment contract (whether full or part time), who, under this employment contract, have been teaching at least the number of field-relevant lessons as specified in Section 26 (1) of Act CCIV of 2011 on National Higher Education are eligible for the award.
The application documentation consists of two parts: The first is to be developed by the nominator (or in the event of self-nomination, by the applicant), and the second by the applicant, who will receive an information email about the process of application submission following the nomination.
1.step
Nomination: Any member of the MOME student (including alumni) and current teacher (including external teachers) communities may submit a nomination. Self-nomination is also permitted.
2.step
Deadline for submission of applications: 30 June
In the application submission period until 30 May each year, professional consultation sessions are provided by the university, including information and guidance, to encourage the submission of nominations and applications.
3.step
The applications received are reviewed by a professional committee of five, consisting of the Head of Academy, the Head of the Education Development Committee, a student delegate (from the Student Council), an external education expert, and, in the first award year, the Head of the Quality Committee, to be replaced from the second award year by the award recipient of the previous year. The committee is chaired by the Head of the Academy.
4.step
Applicants are notified of the committee’s decision by the last work day of July of the given year. Next, coordination with the winning applicant about the award ceremony in September and the related communication begins.
5.step
Each year, one award is presented. The award ceremony takes place at the opening of the academic year ceremony. The recipient will present their activity and best practices to the teaching community in the academic year following the issue of the call, and will have the opportunity to also share them with colleagues in open lessons.
