From the Revolution of Kindness to the Culture of Compassion

Everyone is warmly invited to the MOME KÖR event From the Revolution of Kindness to the Culture of Compassion. Contemporary forms of alienation, the black-and-white thinking that shapes public discourse, and the possibilities for rebuilding social solidarity are explored, with associate professor Eszter Babarczy, who alongside her research and teaching launched the “revolution of kindness” movement on social media, and internationally recognised theologian Professor András Máté-Tóth, whose work focuses on the culture of compassion and how societies deal with collective trauma, and will speak about fostering conviviality. The discussion is moderated by KÖR hosts Klára Lévai and István Povedák.
Attendance is free, but registration is required via the following link: https://www.addevent.com/event/48d4hs0k6hc7
Date and time: Tuesday, 31 March 2026, 6:00 p.m.
