Public Lecture by Ewa Klekot

Art anthropologist Ewa Klekot from SWPS University will be coming to MOME to hold a lecture, open to the university community.

Her internationally acclaimed research explores the epistemological, aesthetic, and philosophical dimensions of craft from an anthropological perspective.
In her lecture, MÄ“tis: A Knowledge that Refuses to Be Abstracted from the Body, she will discuss the ancient Greek concept of mÄ“tis – embodied wisdom essential in moments of transformation and change.

The lecture on 8 October will be followed by a discussion moderated by head of the MOME Doctoral School’s DLA programme Bálint Veres.

The event is supported by the Waclaw Felczak Foundation.
