Trevor Wishart: The Garden of Earthly Delights
The MOME Sonic Atelier is hosting a special Listening Session featuring Trevor Wishart’s The Garden of Earthly Delights, a seventy-minute electroacoustic work presented on the studio’s eight-channel sound system.
This contemporary surround-sound ‘sonic opera’ reinterprets the world of Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights through the voices of politicians, vagrants, call centre workers, talent show hosts and the ‘Oracle’ (AI Department), transforming the painting’s imagery into a present-day soundscape.
The studio has space for 15 listeners. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis for registered participants.
