Animation Foundation

The Animation Foundation module introduces students to key contemporary trends in animated filmmaking, fundamental design approaches, and the entire creative process, from initial research to the presentation of the final work. The module provides an opportunity for practicing the development and presentation of individual concepts around specific topics. It lays the groundwork for the professional, technical, theoretical and practical knowledge required for creating animation content. In particular, students can practice the use of the special animation filmmaking toolkit and forms of expression while gaining a better understanding of the interplay between moving images and sound/music.
