MOME Business Community
The future of design
Hungary’s cultural and creative industries (CCIs) – spanning the arts, media, design, and technology – play a vital role in the national economy, contributing 8.7% to the country’s GDP and generating 8.6% of its employment. These sectors are powerful engines of innovation, driving business development while strengthening Hungary’s cultural identity, economic resilience, and international visibility through their advanced research and innovation capabilities. This creative edge makes the CCI ecosystem a magnet for investment and talent, supporting long-term growth in the face of emerging challenges, particularly in the digital and sustainability arenas.
Recognising the critical role of CCIs in Hungary’s present and future prosperity, MOME is committed to building a strong, national network that links the university with key players in the cultural and creative sectors and the knowledge-based economy.
Partner Programme
Joining the MOME Business Community Partner Programme gives member organisations direct access to the next generation of creative talent and fosters future-oriented thinking within their teams. The programme offers partners the opportunity to connect with MOME’s emerging creative professionals, explore student projects, ideas, and innovative initiatives, and engage with the university’s forward-looking, challenge-driven research and development activities.
MOME’s design-led approach introduces new perspectives, applying innovation and problem-solving methodologies to help partners adapt to and navigate an increasingly dynamic world with agility and insight. Through this collaboration, members gain exposure to new professional cultures, assess the skills of young talents shaping tomorrow’s workforce, and deepen their knowledge across their own fields of expertise.
