Highlights: an exhibition of work by students of the MOME Graphic Design BA programme

Exploring unfamiliar territory and crossing lines can bring genuine joy to the creative process. The Graphic Design BA and Illustration specialisation at MOME focus on a diverse and progressive creative approach that pushes boundaries. The pop-up exhibition organised by the programme during the Design Week 2025 captures a snapshot of a constantly evolving creative process that crosses over into adjacent disciplines. Through selected BA student works from recent years, it offers an insight into how emerging designers and illustrators combine traditional graphic design, typography and illustration with sound, moving image, micro-animation and dynamic, programmed interfaces.

The Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME) has announced an open call for applications for the position of Rector. The call has been issued by the maintainer of the university, the Foundation for Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design.
Two projects linked to MOME took first place in the Hungarian round of the International Union of Architects (UIA) Architecture and Children Work Programme’s UIA Golden Cubes Awards, organised in Hungary by the Association of Hungarian Architects.
A Kurzushét a MOME egyik legintenzívebb és legizgalmasabb formátuma: egy hét, amikor a kreativitás, a tanulás és a közösségi munka koncentráltan találkozik. A 2026. tavaszi kurzushéten a műhelymunka mellett kiállítások, nemzetközi szimpóziumok és artist talkok váltották egymást, miközben különböző szakok hallgatói és oktatói interdiszciplináris keretek között dolgoztak együtt. A kínálat az AI-tól és a robotikától a hangon, animáción és fotográfián át az építészetig és a fenntartható anyagkísérletekig ívelt, a hangműhelyektől az építészeti és kiállításkészítési koncepciókig. Számos kurzus nemzetközi együttműködésben, vendégoktatók részvételével valósult meg. A programot nyilvános prezentációk zárták, amelyeken bárki betekinthetett az egyhetes intenzív munka eredményeibe.
