The MOME Healthy Campus wins Diamond Award in new category at the Sportmarketing Awards

Date: 2026.03.18
MOME Healthy Campus – the university’s holistic workplace sport and lifestyle programme – has received the Diamond Award at the 2026 Sportmarketing Awards in the newly established category “Workplace Sport Promotion and Internal Sports Marketing.” MOME is the first organisation to receive the award in this category, in an exceptionally strong field.

A holistic university programme

The jury singled out the university’s holistic, human-centred, and strategically developed sport and wellbeing system as the strongest entry. They also noted that the programme goes beyond one-off campaigns, instead supporting the wellbeing and active lifestyles of the university community as part of everyday campus life. They highlighted it as an ecosystem whose holistic, people-centred, and strategically structured approach to sport marketing and communication stands out even even on the market.

The programme is led by sport and design manager Ábel Djogni, and is underpinned by the FISU Healthy Campus Platinum certification. It includes the MOME Balance educational programme, developed in partnership with BioTechUSA and Technogym, bringing topics such as lifestyle, nutrition, and stress management closer to the community. Another key part is the MOME HDSE and its related activity programmes, making a wide range of regular physical activities accessible such as weekly yoga and pilates classes, the MOME Runners club, SwimClinic swimming sessions, team sports, and outdoor climbing. This is complemented by wellbeing and preventive measures, including office massage, annual health screenings, and a dental care package, along with everyday initiatives such as the Healthy Campus menu, a fortnightly fruit day, and discounts supporting greener travel through MOL Bubi and GreenGo. Together, these create a complex, integrated model that goes beyond traditional university programmes.

The significance of the award

The Diamond Award is more than a sport marketing accolade – it confirms MOME’s position at the forefront of contemporary workplace wellbeing trends, while also building community and strengthening internal cohesion. It also highlights the value of MOME’s employer brand and further improves its professional standing. The programme’s effectiveness is further reinforced by the strong results of previous years, as outlined in the 2025 summary

Her career was cut tragically short, yet its impact far exceeded the time she had, and it is hard to accept that someone who brought such warmth and vitality is no longer here with us.
