He completed his studies in product design and lighting design, earning an MA in industrial design from MOME and an MA in lighting design from the Wismar University of Applied Sciences in Germany. In 2010, he was awarded a DLA (Doctor of Liberal Arts) from MOME. After successfully completing the habilitation process, he was appointed a full professor in 2023. From 2015 to 2019, he led the Product Design Department and served as Director of the Design Institute for a year.

Over the past years, he has worked on numerous projects, primarily in the fields of lighting and industrial design. With more than 18 years of teaching experience at MOME, he has also conducted workshops as a guest lecturer at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd and the Holon Institute of Technology. Between 2018 and 2021, he led an R&D project for developing a smart office furniture system and its application, which involved extensive research in furniture design, ergonomics, marketing, material technology, IoT, and UX design.
