Noémi Fábián
Media Institute

In 1993, she graduated from the textile design programme of the Hungarian College of Arts and Design (Now MOME). In 1994, she also obtained a degree as a visual educator. She has been teaching at the MOME Media Institute since 1998. Since 2008 she has been the head of media studies, which is the foundational practical program of the Institute.

Biography

She has also regularly participated in solo and group exhibitions since 1990. 
As an artist, she is interested in the concept of existing in time, and the processes of remembering and forgetting. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions. 
Since the 2010s, art education has become increasingly important to her. She experiences her educational concepts, education-related projects and collaborative work with colleagues and students as an intense creative process. Besides being a university teacher, she also places great emphasis on showcasing the work of her students outside the university and organising collaborations.
