Aurum Futuri educational excellence award
MOME teachers with an employment contract (whether full or part time), who, under this employment contract, have been teaching at least the number of field-relevant lessons as specified in Section 26 (1) of Act CCIV of 2011 on National Higher Education are eligible for the award.
The application documentation consists of two parts: The first is to be developed by the nominator, and the second by the applicant, who will receive an information email about the process of application submission following the nomination.
Documents to be submitted by the applicant:
- professional CV highlighting the teaching practice;
- teaching credo statement;
- detailed description of teaching methods and developments used by the candidate;
- course descriptions / themes of courses taught;
- optional: student or collegial recommendation;
- optional: document demonstrating teaching excellence.
1.step
Nomination: Any member of the MOME student (including alumni) and current teacher (including external teachers) communities may submit a nomination.

Deadline for submission of applications: 30 June

The applications received are reviewed by a professional committee of five, consisting of one MOME student delegated by the Student Council, one external educational expert, one previous winner and two other MOME professors or habilitated associate professors appointed by the Rector.
4.step
Applicants are notified of the committee’s decision during the summer. Next, coordination with the winning applicant about the award ceremony in September and the related communication begins.
5.step
Each year, one award is presented. The award ceremony takes place at the opening of the academic year ceremony.
