GUESSWORKS || CRITIQUE OF PURE REASON - {1 + 1 exhibitions in one}
GUESSWORKS
If reality consists of all that has ever existed, a complete discovery is possible - at least in theory. Instead, our collective reality is all too often constructed of preconceptions and extrapolated half-truths. Dániel Cseh doubts this universal comprehensibility through his technological metaphors: either via the embodiment of incompatible perspectives, or by substituting observation with self-surveillance.

CRITIQUE OF PURE REASON
The relationship between our ideas and reality can be described mostly like the two endpoints of a straight line. We spend most of our time floating amid these two points. The illusion of truth nourished by our convictions is maintainable only until we realize our own irreality. The awakening is necessarily profan. Criticism is not the act of pointing out wakefulness but the attempt to understand the nature of levitation.
The installation is set in motion by the interplay of 12 ceramic bedpans, 12 plaster hands and 12 electric (stepping) motors.
