Applied Practices — an applied, problem-solving methodology

Through the tasks of the Applied Practices module, students can explore a problem, conduct research, and answer their research question. Each semester, new topics and issues are explored to help students become responsible professionals who are skilled in project-based design and also have the ability to co-create with other market players. The goal of the design tasks is to encourage experimentation and free thinking so that students can create objects based on their knowledge of the field and material inquiry. DLA ceramics designer Edit Kondor is professional lead for the Applied Practices module.
