Basics 1

The module that students in the programme complete in the first semester. Based on the results of basic form, structure and pattern design tasks completed, they will be assigned to the various specialisations. The tasks are structured around one central theme, Design Solfege, with a strong focus on the use and individual application of manual techniques. Students have three to four weeks to produce their projects. The practical component of the course consists of creating items at home and group consultations about them. To complete the course, students must hand in the form, structure and print design tasks completed, and the specialisation pairs will be assigned based on the assessment of these.
