Basics 2

Two design assignments – one shorter (three to five weeks) and one longer (six to eight weeks) –, each built on the professional foundations of one of the two specialisations of the second semester. The assignments are generally focused on manual techniques, and in particular on mastering the design process, its subtasks, the relevant specialised language, the design documents, and the execution. Assignments are evaluated based on presentation of the documentation of the work completed during the semester. Module courses: design course (for both specialisations), technology and specialised instruction, illustration, professional illustration, computer skills, and specialised theory for the specialisations.
