Interaction Design Basics

Build a solid foundation. Though largely practice-oriented, the first semester’s module includes a theoretical course covering design philosophy, a brief history of IxD, as well as the evolution of design thinking and other frameworks. A set of courses gives students a comprehensive picture of User Experience Design, while also discussing novel approaches such as Life Centred Design or Circular Design. Research is conducted in a group, while individual project work is carried out independently. Project-based work ends with the students designing user flows and interfaces for a prototype and writing an essay on a topic related to Design Anthropology and UX Research.
