Psychology

The aim of this group of subjects is to examine psychological issues surrounding work in education. The subjects in the module focus on how future teachers can help shape their students’ personalities and ensure that they are able to support students’ cognitive, emotional, physical, social and moral development, while taking into consideration their individual needs and developmental requirements. We pay special attention to the theories of learning, the models of memory and, in general, the issue of measurement in psychology. In the social psychology block, we introduce various theoretical approaches to studying social and societal determinism.
