Representation Studies

The main aim of the module is to introduce students to freehand and digital drawing techniques, and the basics of geometry and colour theory. Students will master the digital editing options provided by the architectural design software, CAD, while also learning the basics of technical drawing and documentation. Developing verbal and visual communication skills, which help students understand their visual world and imaging traditions within it, also plays an important role in the module. Advanced digital modelling and rendering, with a focus on combined representation techniques, provide the foundation for further learning.
