Project: Okosiroda a jövő generációi számára

The Balaton Bútor Kft. and the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design have won 444,86 million HUF non-refundable EU funding under the Széchenyi 2020 Competitive Central Hungary Operational Programme with their application entitled "Smart Office for Future Generations".

The aim is to develop innovative furniture and furniture-like products that combine traditional furniture manufacturing technologies with the latest digital technologies. One of the pillars of the development is the development of a strong design strategy, preceded by trend research, market research and analysis.

Digital technologies and innovative integration of research results in innovative materials allow the development of objects that dynamically adapt to user needs, creating new ergonomic challenges and opportunities. The project will result in the creation of a prototype "Experimental showroom" in a specific space. The resulting object will seek a collective response to the ergonomic, psychological and functional needs of Generation Y in terms of office use, work and other activities.
