‘Tomorrow Belongs to You’ scholarship students ready for the entrance exam

Date: 2025.05.07
The first cohort of students has successfully completed the ‘Tomorrow Belongs to You’ scholarship programme at MOME, designed to support the creative talents of the future. The participants celebrated with a closing dinner on the final weekend, where the programme’s professional committee reviewed their year-and-a-half-long journey. The discussions focused on their experiences, future aspirations, and, of course, the upcoming university entrance exams.

Launched in 2023, the scholarship programme aims to provide creative education, mental health support, scholarships, and guidance with compiling their portfolios for the entrance exam for nearly twenty gifted students from disadvantaged backgrounds each year, helping them successfully navigate the entrance exam process.

Of the twenty-two scholarship recipients, fourteen have applied to study at MOME, with the majority interested in animation, graphic design, photography, and textile design and others choosing design culture, architecture, and industrial design as their top options. Eight students are still completing their secondary education and will continue preparing for their entrance exams next year. The second round of entrance exams is currently underway, and the results of who will proceed to the third round will be announced soon. In the meantime, the participants will maintain regular contact with the expert team behind the ‘Tomorrow Belongs to You’ scholarship programme.

Recap: nearly ninety applications were received for the second, 2025 edition of the scholarship programme. Before that, MOME’s expert team has visited nearly twenty institutions, presenting the university’s programmes to around a thousand secondary school students. Presentations were held in cities including Debrecen, Kecskemét, Nyíregyháza, Pécs, Szerencs, Székesfehérvár, and Szolnok, extending the programme’s reach to smaller towns in Szabolcs County, the Kecskemét-Szolnok-Cegléd triangle, and the Székesfehérvár region.
