Biography

My name is Edina Olasz, I have been working at MOME for 34 years. I started at the off-the-peg department of the knitting programme followed by a 14-year long maternity leave during which time I had five children. Since 2011 I have been teaching tailoring and sewing in the clothing workshop. You can also contact me if you would like to experiment with special equipment such as the punching machine (machine felting) or the heat press machine. I have taught a course titled Sewing technology 1 for adults on three occasions. I take a keen interest in recycling which can be achieved by using experimental machines as well.
