Borbála Tölgyesi is a young researcher at the MOME Innovation Center’s Interaction and Immersion Hub. She studied psychology and cognitive sciences. She is currently conducting research into the impacts of virtual reality on mental processes.

Biography

As an interdisciplinary junior researcher, Borbála Tölgyesi studies virtual reality environments and interactions, with a special focus on the impacts they have on mental health and wellbeing. She obtained her BA degree in psychology and her MA degree in cognitive sciences from ELTE. In 2018, he started working at the Eötvös Loránd Research Network Research Centre for Natural Sciences, Institute for Neuroscience and Psychology, where she studied the effects of extreme environmental conditions on mental processes. She joined the MOME Innovation Center in autumn of 2022, where she focuses primarily on the creation and study of virtual environments which take various users’ needs and demands into consideration. The objective of this is to create a good user experience, which is stress free and has a positive impact on users’ mental health.
