Biography

As Head of the Centre for Data Science and Digitalisation at MOME, Dávid Farkas is responsible for the development and implementation of the university's data strategy. He started his career as a research psychologist in the research network of the former Hungarian Academy of Sciences. While he was there he participated in several international research projects and published scientific papers. He later gained experience as a data scientist in the corporate, industrial and academic sectors. He joined MOME in 2021. In addition to his core tasks, he also leads data-driven and digitalisation R&D&I projects, advises external partners on data science, and teaches several courses.
