Biography

Edwina is a research-based designer and educator specializing in the intersection of human-computer interaction and the built environment, with a focus on exploring the connections between technology, learning, play and design. She holds a PhD and a master's degree from MIT's Media Lab.

Before her current role at MOME, Edwina was Associate Director of Design Research at frog, and a global creative and design consultancy and creative technology lead at Mexico’s Central Bank Museum. With a diverse background spanning exhibit and interaction design in Paris and Mexico City, Edwina has also made significant contributions as an educator.

She has taught at institutions including the School of Visual Arts in New York and led workshops internationally, including at Ars Electronica’s Founding Lab.
Edwina's work has been featured in a variety of venues such as the Seoul Biennale of Architecture, SXSW, and CHI Interactive. She has presented at conferences including EmTech,  Experience Fighters, and O’Reilly’s Solid conference.
