Biography
She began her professional career in the field of theatre education in 1992 as a founding member of the Round Table Theatre Education Centre. She works primarily as an actress and drama teacher, but also as a writer and consultant in the same field. She cultivates the theory and practice of theatre education not only as a practitioner but also as a university lecturer. She has written numerous professional publications, including guides and textbooks for drama teachers.
Since 2006, she has also published several works of fiction, including short stories for adults and novels for young people. In 2020, she won the International Children's Book Council's Young Adult Fiction Writer of the Year award for her second young adult book.
In 2022, she received the Éva Mezei Award from the Hungarian Drama Pedagogical Society for her work in theatre education and drama teaching.
Over the decades, she has obtained degrees as a cultural organiser (Janus Pannonius University), a teacher and philologist (ELTE), a drama teacher (University of West Hungary) and a developmental literature therapist (Apor Vilmos College).
Working with storytelling is at the centre of her professional interest.
