The furniture, lamps and installations coming to life in space, through their design, define the space needed to fulfil their function. István is inspired by this duality, which offers an exciting opportunity to find balance. In addition to emotional and instinctive design processes, making his design-related decisions based on a conscious analysis of values and meanings is crucial for him. He considers creativity in art, the designer’s responsibility and empathy for social justice to be the key elements of applied art design. As a university teacher, he wants to share these values with students.
