Judit completed her university studies at the BCE, majoring in horticulture, and at MOME, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Design and Art Theory. Between 2014 and 2021 she was a lecturer at the PreMOME Course, and between 2015 and 2021 she was a photo curator at the Capa Center. She received her PhD from the Film, Media, and Contemporary Culture program at ELTE University in 2022. Since 2022 she has worked as a contemporary curator at MaDok-programme of the Museum of Ethnography. She is a regular contributor to the magazine Fotóművészet and the online magazine HVG – A mű. She has been a lecturer on the MOME Photography MA since 2014.
Biography
She has published art criticism and art reviews in various Hungarian journals since 2000. Between 2007 and 2017 she was a member of the Association of Hungarian Journalists and since 2017 she has been a member of AICA Section Hungary. She completed her university studies at Corvinus University of Budapest, majoring in horticulture, and at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Design and Art Theory. She was a member of the Studio of Young Photographers Hungary from 2012 to 2016 and a board member between 2013 and 2015. Between 2014 and 2021 she was a lecturer at the PreMOME Design Culture Course, and between 2015 and 2021 she was a curator at the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center. She was the founder and editor of the József Pécsi Photography Grant digital archive and was a former member of the editorial board of the Review of Hungarian Photography.
