He has been an honorary associate professor of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design since 2009. As part of the BA in Animation Design programme, he focuses on film graphics, character design and visual design.

Biography

In the early 1980s, Lajos Nagy continued his studies at the University of Fine Arts and Design in Cluj-Napoca and the University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. He has shown his work at several exhibitions of engravings and drawings. He has been a director at Kecskemétfilm studio since 1989. Several episodes of The Hungarian Folk Tales and The Mouse Who Saw the World have been awarded in the TV series category at national and international festivals. He has worked as a director and animation and lay-out supervisor on several feature-length animated films abroad. He received the Béla Balázs Award in 2004.
