Biography

He graduated from the Art History programme at Eötvös Loránd University in 2004. His professional interests turned towards 20th-century and contemporary architecture while he was a university student. So the experience he gained between 2001 and 2006 as the editor of New Hungarian Architecture (Új Magyar Építőművészet) and later as a permanent contributor to Architect's Forum (Építészfórum) online newspaper was crucial.

He got his PhD in 2017 from the Csonka Pál Doctoral School of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. In 2021, he was awarded the Opus Mirabile recognition by the Committee on Art History of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences for his book Hungarian Industrial Architecture, 1945-1970 (Magyar ipari építészet, 1945-1970). The book was based on his doctoral dissertation, but significantly expanded and developed upon it.

His domestic and international scholarly publications have largely focused on the Hungarian architecture of the 1950s and 1960s. As a lecturer, he primarily teaches courses and seminars on architectural and design history, architectural theory, and research methodology, as well as delving into contemporary design and architectural phenomena.
