He started his studies as a jeweller at the Secondary School of Fine and Applied Arts. He then got a BA and an MA degree in metalwork at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, where he later also qualified as a design and visual art teacher. He has won Hungarian Design Awards and the Lajos Kozma Applied Arts Scholarship.
