Biography

An Artistic Researcher grounded in theatre direction, speculative philosophy and environmental theory, he specialises in crafting immersive art installations utilising digital technologies. His capabilities span VR/AR, game design, and programming, channeling environmental narratives into interactive experiences.
His independent research at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava and at Helsinki XR Center explored the intersection of digital art and environmental awareness, advancing the boundaries of digital performing arts.
He has worked as an unreal engine developer at startup company Darades, as well as a digital project coordinator at the Slovak National Gallery, showcasing a blend of creative and technical expertise.
Samuel’s work delves deeply into the use of immersive technologies and their impact on human well-being. His research seeks to show how XR technologies can be tailored to foster not only education and engagement but also to promote mental and physical health.
