Lődi Áron elhelyezése a kortárs művészetben Hal Foster: The Anti-Aesthetic: Essays on Postmodern Culture (1983) gondolatkörének vonatkozásában

The basis of the study is Áron Lődi's solo exhibition Metallurgia, shown at Gallery 1111 in 2024, in which the artist dealt with the past and present of the Dunaújváros steel plant (Dunaferr / Liberty Dunaújváros), and thus interpreted the political and economic history of the CEE region through the form language of (neo)Gothic. Additionally, the study deals with Áron Lődi's work to date, analyses the exhibition and discusses the works of other Hungarian and international artists who share the spirit of Lődi’s art. Áron Lődi graduated in 2020 from MOME’s Media Design BA programme, and is currently working in Budapest, The Hague and Amsterdam. The exhibition studied was curated by Barnabás Zemlényi-Kovács.
