Bear in mind that this platform is only open for applications between December 20 and February 15. After that date they can apply with their non-Hungarian citizenship on our international application platform: apply.mome.hu.
Citizens of EEA countries as defined by law in Section 39(1) of Act CCIV of 2011 on National Higher Education may be accepted for state-funded programmes the same way as Hungarian citizens. Please note that applications for state-funded programmes can be submitted ONLY through the Hungarian national application interface of felvi.hu by 15 February 2024. The interface of felvi.hu is available only in Hungarian language and foreign nationals will also need to register access to the Hungarian e-electornic (e-Client Gate) service system at the nearest Hungarian consulate. If you wish to receive more information about this process, please contact our admission office at admission@mome.hu.

The prerequisite for application is having a fully accredited bachelor’s degree certificate.(BA or MA diploma). No other special prior qualifications are required. Prospective students are selected based on their talent and competence during the university’s admission procedures.. If you are graduating from your BA programme this academic year you must provide an official transcript of all completed semesters and an official letter from your university confirming the time of issuing your BA degree certificate. Without these documents, we cannot guarantee the acceptance and processing of your application.
If your bachelor’s degree and your official transcripts are issued in English, German or French you will not need a translation. If your degree certificate and the diploma supplements are issued in another language you will need an official certified Hungarian translation of your documents, the latest by April 15th. This is to ensure that your certificate can be validated by the Hungarian National Education Bureau (Hungarian NARIC) for accreditation and equivalency purposes.
Our admission interviews are conducted in a hybrid manner, international applicants are offered an online interview.
Our university must check all foreign BA/MA qualifications with the assistance of the National Educational Bureau’s Equivalency Centre whether the submitted BA/MA degree certificate is equivalent to a Hungarian BA/ MA degree. In order to process your degree certificate’ equivalency check we must receive a copy of it as early as possible. If the degree is not issued in English, please arrange an official translation. Once the qualification has been approved as equivalent, MOME will issue an equivalency certificate for the applicants. Please note that some universities may not be accepted as an accredited institution therefore their degree qualifications may not be regarded as equivalent/ valid to enter the Hungarian higher education system.
