Erasmus+ and other student mobility affairs are handled by the Registrar's Office (TIOK) of MOME.

As a Erasmus+ student, you can study here one or two semesters maximum.  One may study in English at all levels (MA, BA) in all areas, as:

  • Media Design
  • Animation
  • Graphic Design
  • Photography
  • Product+Industrial Design
  • Textile (Fashion-, Weaving-, Knitting-, Printing-, Apparel and Leather-) Design
  • Silicate (Ceramics-, Glass-) Design (Glass courses are suitable only for applicants with relevant background/experience. Without that the Institution can only provide a basic introduction course.)
  • Metalwork+Jewellery Design
  • Architecture
  • Theoretical Studies (depending on the particular application).

Erasmus+ students are expected to have  a valid student status in one of the MOME’s Partner Universities.

Erasmus+ Application Procedure

  1. The applicant’s home institution should send a nomination email (including the student’s name, email address and the chosen department) to
  2. Login codes will be sent to the applicant by MOME
  3. Using the login codes, applicants should fill out an online application form and they should also upload their materials (CV, motivation letter and portfolio file)


Fall Semester : From early September till mid January
Spring Semester: From late January till mid June


For the Spring semester: 15 November
For the Autumn semester: 15 May

A committee of our teachers will examine portfolios, and applicants will be informed about their decision within a month. The result is hihgly depend on the applicant’s portfolio and on the faculty’s capacity.

MOME uses a five-scale grading system: 1 Hungarian grade = 1 ECTS grade


5 = ECTS A EXCELLENT –outstanding performance with only minor errors
4 = ECTS B VERY GOOD –above the averagestandard but with some errors
3 = ECTS C GOOD –generally sound workwith a number of notable errors
2 = ECTS D SUFFICIENT –performance meets the minimum criteria but it is 50% of ECTS A
1 = ECTS F X/F FAIL –work required before the credit can be awarded
