Erasmus+ and other student mobility affairs are handled by the Registrar's Office (TIK) of MOME.
As an Erasmus+ student, you can study here for one or two semesters maximum, in English language, at both BA and MA levels in all areas, such as:
- Media Design
- Animation
- Graphic Design
- Photography
- Product+Industrial Design
- Textile (Fashion-, Weaving-, Knitting-, Printing-, Apparel and Leather-) Design
- Object Design (Digital Craft, Ceramics, Glass design, Metalwork) (Glass courses are suitable only for applicants with relevant background/experience. In the absence of such background/experience, the Institution can only provide a basic introduction course.)
- Architecture
- Theoretical Studies (depending on the particular application).
Erasmus+ students are expected to have a valid student status at one of MOME’s Partner Universities.
Erasmus+ Application Procedure
- The applicant’s home institution should send a nomination email (including the student’s name, email address and the selected department) to erasmus@mome.hu
- Login codes will be sent to the applicant by MOME
- Using the login codes, applicants should fill out an online application form and also upload their documents (CV, motivation letter and portfolio file)
Fall Semester : From early September till mid January
Spring Semester: From late January till mid June
Deadlines
For the Spring semester: 15 November
For the Autumn semester: 15 May
A committee of our teachers will examine the portfolios, and applicants will be informed about their decision within a month. The outcome is highly dependent on the applicant’s portfolio and on the faculty’s capacity.

MOME uses a five-scale grading system: 1 Hungarian grade = 1 ECTS grade
Definition
5 = ECTS A EXCELLENT – outstanding performance with only minor errors
4 = ECTS B VERY GOOD – above the average standard but with some errors
3 = ECTS C GOOD – generally sound wor kwith a number of notable errors
2 = ECTS D SUFFICIENT – performance meets the minimum criteria but it is 50% of ECTS A
1 = ECTS F X/F FAIL – work required before the credit can be awarded
