Get your first design protection!

Do you have a nightstand, corkscrew or bag design you know is unique? Come and find out how to get protection for it at a 3-session workshop for securing protection.

he first session will feature the head of the Design Department of the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office, who will explain which designs you can protect as well as the filing process, while the second and the third will cover how to prepare and complete the filing through practical examples.

19 October 2023, 3:00-5:00 p.m. – What is design protection? What is it for and how to secure it?

2 November 2023, 3:00-5:00 p.m. – Representation and filing preparation workshop

Week of 2 December 2023 – The procedure of filing for protection

The workshop consists of sessions each built on the previous one, which means the first session is strongly recommended for all participants.

These sessions will explore key ethical, design, and impact-assessment questions around VR-based therapies, such as How can the effects of VR experiences be measured? What ethical dilemmas does the virtual environment introduce in therapeutic contexts? And how can VR be tailored for older adults or other vulnerable groups?
