Graduating students from the Illustration specialisation of the Graphic Design BA are showcasing their diploma work in an exhibition titled PROOF, hosted at Random Gallery.

A new exhibition titled It Seemed Possible for a Moment will open soon, tracing the history and archive of the NA-NE Gallery, an independent art space active in the 90s.

What’s the science behind cuteness? How might we rethink bulky waste collection in Budapest, or even redesign a fruit dryer? What does it mean to reconnect with nature, and is it really necessary to store the endless streams of data we’re generating today? These are just some of the questions addressed by the masterworks featured in the 2025 Diploma Exhibition of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME). This year’s graduates explore global and societal challenges through the lens of design and art, with works spanning four major themes: the climate crisis, social innovation, dignified care and healthcare, and the future of cultural heritage in an ever-accelerating world. 

This Engage4BIO webinar explores how design, art, and biology intersect to shape more sustainable futures within the biomass-based economy. Organized within the framework of the Engage4BIO project, the session will highlight the role of design and art in shaping a bio-based economy — with a particular focus on bio-based materials research and sustainable design solutions, and the opportunities these approaches offer.

On 24 May, visitors can join garden tours to discover the transformation of the park, the planning that took place behind the scenes, and the importance of green spaces for urban climate through guided campus garden walks. In the afternoon, an apiculture workshop will offer a deeper insight into the workings of the MOME Apiary, while on Sunday, the Herbarium exhibition will be open for viewing throughout the day.

This May, MOME will once again come alive with works, exhibitions, and captivating installations for Kipak 2025. The event will showcase students' semester projects through public presentations and exhibitions, which will be open to visitors from 19 to 23 May 2025 across the campus on Zugligeti Street. While some events are fully accessible to the public, others will be reserved for the university community and invited guests.
