Cooperative Doctoral Programme

The aim of the Cooperative Doctoral Programme (KDP) is to further increase the number of employees in the field of research, development and innovation who wish to enrich their professional knowledge with the latest scientific research results and are committed to the social and economic exploitation of their knowledge.

The Ministry of Innovation and Technology, through the National Research, Development and Innovation Office, has announced an open call for applications for the "Cooperative Doctoral Programme Doctoral Student Scholarship" from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund. Doctoral students participating in the Cooperative Doctoral Programme work on their topics in cooperation with companies, within the institutional framework of higher education doctoral schools.

Applications are open to doctoral students who have not yet passed the complex examination by the deadline for submission of applications and to students who will start their doctoral studies in the academic year 2021/2022. However, it is important to note that during the period of the KDP fellowship, students must have an employment or other employment relationship with the partner organisation of their choice for which they are entitled to remuneration.

Applications will be judged by the nine-member Cooperative Doctoral College, which includes representatives from both higher education and the competitive sector, ensuring that both sides' perspectives are heard and the best are selected.
