Our scholarship recipients

The objective of the project is to conduct a comparative analysis of various international best practices and models within child protection systems.

In 2023, the first recipient of the MOME KDP scholarship successfully defended their doctoral dissertation on their research topic. The chair of the doctoral defence committee was university professor Dr. Petra Aczél, and its members included university professor at ELTE's Institute of People-Environment Transaction Andrea Dúll DSc and university professor at the MOME Design Institute Balázs Püspök DLA.

Her doctoral research focuses on the mindsets of start-up founders in the New Nordic region and seeks to uncover traits that made them successful.

The theme of my doctoral (DLA) research is, based on my personal and professional orientation, exploring the impact of urbanisation on people and the environment, with a special focus on the topic of mobility.

No. The employer's partner company employs the expert, who receives a monthly fee under the programme and must employ the scholarship recipient at least part-time.

The reports from the scholarship recipient, supervisor, and expert are evaluated by a committee appointed by MOME, which provides feedback within 30 days. To proceed to the next phase, a rating of at least "satisfactory" or "excellent" is required.

Within 60 days after the scholarship programme concludes, a detailed final report must be submitted to the university (Sponsor), outlining the mandatory commitments and tasks executed as per the research plan.

During the EKÖP-KDP scholarship period, you cannot receive another EKÖP or any other KDP scholarship. With the EKÖP and EKÖP-KDP application periods overlapping, if you apply for and win both, you must choose which one to accept. The scholarship period starts simultaneously for both applications, so a decision needs to be made promptly.

The scholarship status terminates if the underlying eligibility ceases to exist during the scholarship period or on the last day of the semester in which the absolutorium is obtained.
If the scholarship recipient fails to meet or fails to properly meet the scholarship contract terms, the Sponsor may revoke support and determine that the previously received funds were unduly obtained. For unduly received funds, the repayment obligation of the scholarship recipient covers the amount of the unduly received funds. The Sponsor will reclaim the improperly obtained scholarship from the EKÖP-KDP scholarship recipient, the corporate expert, and the supervisor. The scholarship status ends on the day the Sponsor's written notification of support withdrawal is received. A final professional report must be submitted to the rector within 30 days of this notification, evaluated by the Sponsor's experts.
